After several hours of fruitless searching for a very long-reach hole punch, I built a “frankenpunch” from a re-purposed hole punch and some scrap wood and steel. A nicer, better-working version will cut the center holes in 7″ acetate blanks.
Currently building a prototype for a giant (22′ and 70′) guitar, to be performed at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts. Turnbuckle tuner, derlin nut/saddle, humbucker pickup. Possibly played with a motor.
