DRAWING FUNDAMENTALS - - OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING
Rutgers University Mason Gross School of Art
The work below is from Drawing Fundamentals I and II, taught at Rutgers University during the fall of 2005 and spring of 2006.

Drawing is the most basic form of communication for an artist. As an artist for whom new technology and conceptual processes make up the majority of my practice, I still find drawing a critical skill that can communicate ideas that are either too cumbersome or time-consuming to explain in words as well as an invaluable expressive tool.
These fundamental skills, with strict attention to observation, made up the majority of this course.
Brief assignment descriptions are below each drawing.
