Brownian Teapot

BrownianUtahTeapot_JohnMacey_2010

Found this version of the Utah Teapot by Jon Macey while researching for my Digital Imaging class – not entirely sure how this is made, but I think it has something to do with Brownian Motion. In any event, really love how blobby and imperfect it is compared with most 3d models.

Very nice, strange vessels by Ilaria Marelli created from 2d outlines in Giorgio Morandi paintings.
