After several hours of fruitless searching for a very long-reach hole punch, I built a “frankenpunch” from a re-purposed hole punch and some scrap wood and steel. A nicer, better-working version will cut the center holes in 7″ acetate blanks.
Screw-Type Log Splitter

Screw Descriptor Wheel
Another great wheel-based combinatorial tool, this one for screws (and bolts too, technically). Allows for various combinations of heads, threading, and my favorite, washers printed on clear plastic. Perhaps McMaster Carr should create some version of this…
Phonetic Word Wheel
The “Phonetic Word Wheel”, which appears to create combinatorial words (here are some more rudimentary word wheels). Via the book “Reinventing the Wheel”, via an excellent post on similar rotating devices from Brain Pickings.
