Following with more desparately lonely media from the Mars rover Curiosity, this image is from the rover’s rear-facing Hazard Avoidance camera looking back at a crater rim.

Some of the first images using a very low-resolution Argus digital camera – these are taken in the lowest quality setting and produce some interesting color and shape patterns, almost like worms digging through the images. Lots more after the break.
Some experiments that will (ultimately) become cyanotypes later this week…
Not sure exactly what I’m looking at, but that it is part of a project by Samsung that released 100 paper airplanes from space.
