That is a great picture. I was looking for one for a blog post I did some time back. The system they used to project the visualizations on that screen was very interesting. They used a film camera to take a picture of an oscilloscope screen. Then the film advanced thru chemicals to process the image. After that the film advanced to a projection system that displayed to a large screen. Somewhere on the internet I found some old manuals that had diagrams of the system.
